Minor Weak Spot

The Minor Weak Spot-Mate (©SRT) most often happens early in the game, as the mated king is still on his initial square. The bishop mates on the weak spot. The knight protects it and covers d7 (or d2 if Black does the mating). This mate often comes after a sacrifice, when the opponent wasn't expecting the knight to go to e5 (or e4 for Black).
