Anderssens's Mate

In Anderssen's Mate, the king is mated on the back-rank with a rook or queen that is defended by a pawn or a bishop (or even a queen for that matter). Named after a famous game between Adolf Andersson and Johannes Zukertort in 1869. Note: According to Wikipedia, some people call it Mayet's Mate (after the German Karl Mayet) when the mating rook is supported by a distant bishop instead of a close-up pawn. Just so you know.
